Location: Tower of the Americas: 739 E César E. Chávez Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78205
 Practice Climbs at the Tower are closed.
 Walk-in Registration. We do have some spots still open for walk-in registration. Walk-in
event day registration is $65 and CASH ONLY. And please note that change will not be
available to be given at Check-in table. Any overpayment will be a donation to SA110 or
be prepared with exact amount. Again, CASH ONLY please.
 No Participant Transfers allowed. Registration name MUST match valid ID. MUST
have ID (and match our listed name) to check-in. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are unable
to attend, please email [email protected] as soon as possible so we
can assign your tag to the next first responder.
 Registration check-in is from 6am-7am. Check-in WILL CLOSE at 7:00 am. 
 Arrive early to allow enough time to find and secure other parking...and CARPOOL
if able! Tower has limited our number of Parking spots available and fills fast. Plan in
advance for other parking (Online search for Tower or Convention Center parking pulls
up some info). Look along Cesar Chavez, Market St, and Tower of The Americas way
and Convention Center Parking.

including our 9/11 20th Anniversary Collector "Challenge" Coin! If you're missing a year

SA110 9/11 MEMORIAL CLIMB EVENT DAY SECURITY PROTOCOLS/ PROHIBITED
ITEMS/ETC AT TOWER OF THE AMERICAS:
 Valid ID/Credentials are REQUIRED for participant check-in. All guests should also
have ID on person for security if asked.
 All bags and persons may be subject to security check prior to entry onto the
grounds or while on premises. Please help us all by limiting as many purses and
unnecessary bags as possible! Please follow a general clear bag policy to assist with
security checks if possible. Thank you for helping keep us all safe!
 NO CIVILIAN FIREARMS PERMITTED ON GROUNDS (concealed or open). Nada.
*Handguns may be carried by Law Enforcement who are in FULL GOVT ISSUED
UNIFORM ONLY and must be SECURED in DUTY ISSUE holster at all times. Please be
prepared to show/verify alternate proof of profession if asked. ABSOLUTELY NO LONG
GUNS/ RIFLES. NO MATTER WHAT.
 ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO ABOVE RULE.
 No long knives allowed. If able, please leave duty knives (leathermans, etc.) in vehicle
for ease of bag check and pat downs. Any items deemed necessary may be confiscated
and you may retrieve it again when leaving the grounds.
 Other Items PROHIBITED from entry to event grounds:
NO tents, tables, signs, banners, large containers or coolers, drones, no advertising or
soliciting materials or items for distribution (we are all there for one reason only, thank
you for your respect). Please be aware that anything appearing to be possible
advertising or marketing materials for distribution may be disallowed from entering the
grounds. Allowed: Collapsible chairs. 
 Items PROHIBITED from Stairwell: No bags or backpacks of any kind are permitted in
the stairwell. Allowed: Vests and Camelbaks are now allowed inside stairwell. NO
handheld tools, flags, or water bottles allowed in stairwell. (Emergency water is available
with stairwell attendees if needed). NO animals (or, dare I say it, small children) allowed

in stairwell. (other than the ONE dog we have assigned to pay tribute to the one fallen
K9) Please note that any items and persons may undergo a pat down or inspected prior
to entry. No handheld or loose items, anything entering must be secured to body or able
to be secured in pockets etc.
 PLEASE HELP US WITH A NEW SECURITY RULE AS WELL: Please try to keep
bags/gear 20ft from the TOA building. Please try to keep along outer edge of grounds
rather than against building. Thank you for your assistance in this!

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:
Portholes and airflow. In 2022 we know it was a struggle due to the Portholes in tower shaft
not being opened for us as they normally are. This issue has been addressed and over 20
portholes (those out of reach) will once again be opened for airflow! If anyone you know didn't
sign up this year due to that please let them know and inform them of the walk-in registration
available!

"Racing" is not allowed. This is a Memorial Climb, not a race. Please pause during climb for
moment of silence at Bell Toll times. PASS Devices (SCBA alarms) may be set off during these
times. Also please remember Civilian/Non-First Responder participation is a privilege. All
civilians must participate in the civilian group (unless minor and absolutely no other adult to
accompany them in such). No exceptions. Please respect our Order Of Precedence for our
fallen and the brothers and sisters climbing for them.

IMPORTANT! If able, Please bring CASH for T-shirts/Merchandise! Credit card lines can get
very long and time consuming. Due to increasing fees which incur a loss to us, credit card
transactions will have a fee added for card processing. Our 2024 T-shirts will be available
for sale (T-shirts are NOT included with registration). Other merchandise and prior year pints
and shirts will also be available for sale at our Afterparty held at Smoke Skybar (see afterparty
section).

Donations are accepted and greatly appreciated! Can turn into the Donation/Merchandise
table. Please let them know if this is particular Fundraising to make note of. Donations can be
made by cash or card.

Check our "Patch Board" on the grounds to ensure your agency is on it and if not, please bring
us your agency patch to the Donation/Merch to add to the board!

Non-Participants (guests) are welcome. Guests are allowed on the main grounds only. Non-
participants are permitted from entering the facility. Guests should also have valid I.D. available
on person.

Please pay attention to announcements while on the grounds. These announcements are
important and help keep our event running smoothly.

If you need to cancel or change your registration category (civilian accidentally signed up
for a 343 tag, etc.) please email [email protected] ASAP so your tag may be
reassigned properly! List will be finalized this weekend! No civilians are allowed to be signed
up to carry a tribute tag (343 FF, 70 LEO, etc tags). Please respect our first responders
paying tribute to their fallen brethren.

PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: There are NO TRANSFERS in the event if you are unable to
attend. Please do not send someone in your place. Walk-in Registration is available, $65,
CASH ONLY, PLEASE. No change will be available; excess monies will be considered a
donation.

On the morning of Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 we will once again join at the Tower Of The Americas to climb the stairs twice to reach 110 floors, the height of the WTC Twin Towers, to pay tribute to the 343 fallen firefighters who climbed and perished on 9/11/01. Tags will be carried for each of the fallen. We additionally have tags to pay tribute to the 70 Law Enforcement Offers and 9 EMS personnel who lost their lives on ground zero as well.
A limited number of spots are available and we traditionally sell out every year so please register as soon as possible to secure your participation and tribute tag. Sign up opening day for our Director’s Special rate of only $25.

• Note: ONLY Firefighters have access to the elevators to go down. And only 2 elevators available for use. FFs in gear and carrying tribute tags get priority. All others and civilians will use second set of stairs do descend. If you are otherwise disabled or need elevator tag (participants only) please address at check-in.

On Monday, September 11th, First Responders from all over the country will once again join together at the Tower Of The Americas to pay tribute to their fallen brethren.
The San Antonio 110 has consistently been one of the  largest 9/11 Memorial climbs in the world. Our first event held in 2013, this will be our 11th SA110, hitting a milestone of ten years holding our tribute to our fallen.

All 343 fallen firefighters will be paid tribute to. 70 fallen law enforcement and 9 EMS tags will be carried as well. We once again anticipate over 100 different agencies represented as participants this year, including over 600 First Responders from all across the state and country.
 
Registration Opens Saturday, July 1st at 8:00 a.m.

We have multiple positions needing to be filled on our Planning Committee and/or Event Day Ops management. We are also expanding our positions to break into easier work load for everyone. In hopes our hard working committee members can stay with us longer term with a lighter load. And remove miscellaneous tasks and work load from our Director (who fills in for any empty positions, usually doing 4 or 5 per year).

+ Assistant Sponsorship Director (additional prospecting, fundraising, etc)
+ After-party Coordinator (planned between us and Alamo Beer)
+ Assistant Registration/Participant Director
+ Design and Merchandise (Annual design work, Tshirts, annual freebie items, etc)
+ Assistant to Director (to main event founder/director, includes admin work, errands, etc)
+ Support Coordinator (pipe&drum, honor guard, lead agency, anthem, photographers, etc)
+ Logistics Director (as ours is switching to a different position. Includes overseeing all inventory and managing all items and needs delivered for event day. May have replacement but possibly open.)
+ Event Day Ops management positions: Stairwell, Grounds Ops, asst Observation Level, EMS/Rehab leads, Merchandise/Donation Table

Committee/planning level holds meetings twice a month in evenings over Zoom (until closer to event day) starting in May. Planning/committee level positions DO have responsibilities that are required (no just "T-shirt wearer" positions. Responsibilities and working expectations). And we are hoping to have long term commitments, not just one year, as training is time consuming. So serious interest only please.
