Who we, your San Antonio 110 committee, are:
San Antonio 110 9/11 Memorial Climb was created by a firefighter, for firefighters.
The committee was formed in mid 2013 when it was realized that an email and a few coolers of Gatorade just wasn't going to cut it. If we were going to do this, we were going to do it right, and to the level it deserved.
On June 24th, 2013 our first planning committee meeting was held. Each and every member then and since has signed a code of Ethics and Values which our event runs by. Every decision must abide and adhere to this code of Ethics. We pride ourselves in our strong morale and our desire and dedication to our ethical code of conduct behind the running of both our committee's decisions and this event.
Our committee currently consists of a collaboration of six different agency affiliations and non-fire personnel citizens as well. All members, of all position, hold the same loyalty and commitment to our cause.
Our committee currently consists of an Executive/Event Director, Administrative, Operations, Logistics, Sponsorship, Volunteer/HR, Inter-Agency, along with multiple sub levels, assistants, and coordinators. There are approximately 200 volunteers who contribute their time or resources from beginning of planning each year to end of event.
Every member of our committee is a volunteer. Each member, be it director, coordinator, or resource, volunteers their own time and efforts into this event to make it a success. And each one of those members is an integral part of doing so. 100% volunteer, every aspect of this event is donated, be it by time, funds, or resources.
We are proud of what we have created from a literal zero beginning mark, developed by the support and belief in our cause by so many.
We take pride in our event, but more so in our cause above all else, and we hope you find that same pride in being a part of it.

*The San Antonio 110 9/11 Memorial Climb believes in holding itself to a high morale in all decisions whether it falls under guideline of our ethics code or not. However it is rare occurrence that we are not able to turn to its clauses for decisions. And when it is within its code, its decision is absolute and unwavering as we know it is sound and right. Our Values and Ethics code currently consists of nine primary clauses: Honor, No Bias, Cause, Transparency, Humility, Commitment and Accountability, Communication and Honesty, Respect, and Integrity.
